The first release of UCLA’s new procure-to-pay system, BruinBuy Plus, on January 2, 2024, marks an important milestone for Ascend 2.0. The replacement of BruinBuy with BruinBuy Plus moves the University towards more efficient and transparent procurement processes. The second release is scheduled for winter 2024, in tandem with Bruin Finance, UCLA’s new core financial system powered by Oracle Financials Cloud.
What is BruinBuy Plus?
BruinBuy Plus is a modern procure-to-pay, or eProcurement, system that will automate and integrate shopping, ordering, receiving, and invoice management into a single environment. It is configured to reflect UCLA business processes and provide increased visibility and consistency across procurement workflows.
