Ascend 2.0 Video Library

The Ascend 2.0 Video Library, hosted on YouTube, offers a variety of videos to help you learn more about timely program topics, such as Chart of Accounts, BruinBuy Plus, and more. In addition, event recordings from previous town halls, roadshows, and other program events can be accessed here. This library can support you with relevant information as you and your department prepare for the modernization of UCLA’s financial systems!

BruinBuy Plus

The BruinBuy Plus playlist includes in-depth information on the University’s new procure-to-pay system, BruinBuy Plus, including demos and prior event recordings.

Demos

The demos playlist provides short hands-on previews of new system functionality. For example, learn how to use the new shopping feature within BruinBuy Plus through the 5-minute “Shopping Overview” demo preview video.

Training

The training playlist offers access to short, on-demand videos that supplement required BruinBuy Plus training courses. This includes short videos for building an order, data access, receiving, and more.

Bruin Finance

Review the Bruin Finance playlist to learn about the University’s new core financial system, powered by powered by Oracle Financials Cloud. You can also find videos related to the Chart of Accounts, UCLA’s new financial language that will replace the current Full Accounting Unit (FAU), in this playlist. More videos will be added to this playlist as we get closer to the launch of this system.
